Welcome to Illawarra Water Polo
Our aim is to give competent swimmers aged 7+ the opportunity to safely learn and play the sport of water polo, right here in the Illawarra. We cater from beginners to experts and focus on the development of all our players through training and games.
We offer:
- a Summer junior program for ages 7 to 16 years (up to born 2008)
- year-round senior programs for ages 16+

Monday 16 February 2026 - Wednesday 03 June 2026
- 2 weeks of Pre-Season games to ease into the season and finalise teams. No competition points on offer.
- Competition rounds commence after conclusion of pre-season.
- There is a Fast Fives round on Wednesday 22/04/2026 due to UOW mid session recess (20/04/2026 - 24/04/2026 inclusive). There will be no competition points on offer that week.
