When & where

Monday 16 February 2026 - Wednesday 03 June 2026

• 2 weeks of Pre-Season games to ease into the season and finalise teams. No competition points on offer.
• Competition rounds commence after conclusion of pre-season.
• There is a Fast Fives round on Wednesday 22/04/2026 due to UOW mid-session recess (20/04/2026 - 24/04/2026 inclusive). There will be no competition points on offer that week.

Times

• Mondays 7:30pm - 9:00pm (5 week Match Fit Mondays training block) [16/02/2026 - 16/03/2026]
• Wednesdays 7:15pm - 9:00pm (games) [16/02/2026 - 01/04/2026; games shift forward ~1hr from 08/04/2026 due to Juniors season finishing]

Cost

Registration fees consist of 3 parts:

• Capitation fee to our peak body, Water Polo NSW (WPNSW). This cost is set independently of the club. The Water Polo NSW (WPNSW) and Water Polo Australia (WPA) season runs from 01 September to 31 August each year.
• Capitation fee to our peak body, Water Polo Australia (WPA). This cost is set independently of the club. The Water Polo NSW (WPNSW) and Water Polo Australia (WPA) season runs from 01 September to 31 August each year.
• Registration fee to Illawarra Water Polo, this cost is set by the club to cover week-to-week expenses such as pool hire.

* Capitation fees paid since 1st September 2025 will be deducted from this amount. If you played Senior Spring 2025, or the current Junior Summer season, you've likely paid about half of the capitation already. This is automatically calculated at checkout.

` Players in our current junior program who have paid the full season Illawarra registration fee will not need to pay the Illawarra fee for the senior season

Registration fees ensure that all players are adequately insured. We will be enforcing a 'no pay, no play' policy.
