Senior Spring 2025

Wednesday 23 July 2025 - Wednesday 12 November 2025

• 3 weeks of Pre-Season games to ease into the season and finalise teams. No competition points on offer.
• Competition rounds commence after conclusion of pre-season.
• There is a break from Monday 25/08/2025 - Wednesday 17/09/2025 (inclusive) due to pool maintenance. There will be no training or games on those weeks.
• There is a 1 week break for UOW mid session recess (29/09/2025 - 03/10/2025 inclusive). There will be no games that week.

Times

• Wednesdays 6:15pm - 8:00pm (games) [23/07/2025 - 08/10/2025; games shift back ~1hr from 15/10/2025 due to Juniors season commencement]
• Mondays 6:30pm - 8:00pm (Match Fit Mondays training block) [28/07/2025 - 18/08/2025]

Cost

New players commencing before 18 August 2025

• 2024-2025 Come & Try Senior (lasts for 2 weeks): $33.61
• If you choose to continue playing, you will then need to upgrade your membership to a full season membership
  • $TBC* (Water Polo NSW & Water Polo Australia annual capitation fee 2025-2026) + $140` (Illawarra Water Polo registration fee)
  • These membership upgrade payments will be invoiced separately

* The Water Polo NSW (WPNSW) and Water Polo Australia (WPA) season runs from 01 September to 31 August each year. The WPNSW and WPA season rollover from 2024-2025 to 2025-2025 occurs partway through our Senior Spring season. All players will be required to pay a 2025-2026 WPNSW and WPA capitation fee (cost TBC) from 1st September 2025 to continue playing the remainder of the Senior Spring season. Though disruptive, this is necessary to ensure all players are adequately insured.

Returning players

• $140` (Illawarra Water Polo registration fee) + any capitation fees potentially owing to WPNSW & WPA for 2024-2025 (up to $33.61) + $TBC* (Water Polo NSW & Water Polo Australia annual capitation fee 2025-2026)

Juniors Summer Season 2025-2026

October 2025 - April 2026 (Mondays and Wednesdays)

Break over the summer school holidays (18/12/2025 - 27/01/2026) - no junior water polo activities during this time

If your child is born in 2008 or 2009, please email the club (info@illwp.com) or contact Jimmy (0421 451 556) to discuss whether your child is best suited for the junior or senior program.

 * Players already registered at other clubs may not need to pay certain Affiliation Fees.

After Registering, an invoice will be displayed on screen with payment instructions and a copy sent to your email. Payment to Water Polo NSW and/or Water Polo Australia must be made online via credit/debit card. Payments via bank deposit will only be accepted for fees payable directly to Illawarra Water Polo. Once payment has been confirmed and approved you will receive details to your email.
